Our interpretation of the perfect Vespa disc brake in a "clean design".
Key features:
- 200mm brake disc with 5.5mm material thickness
- Plug and play fit on the PX Millennium star
- Adapted brake pads from the motorcycle sector (pads available in many compounds. We recommend MCB611SRQ)
- 2x28 and 2x30mm brake pistons
- Optimally suited for 12-15mm brake pumps (depending on model)
- Also fits with the PX wheel mount KR52-54 for the Sipfelgenadapter KR55-57 (see above)
- The "two-finger stoppy" even at 150 km/h
The brake fits plug and play on any PX fork. For PK forks, the usual damper offset plate, as with Grimeca brakes, is required.
The brake ONLY fits in conjunction with SIP tubeless rims, the new FA-Italia or SCK rims - The valve must be on the outside of the rim and must not go "through the rim" like with Pinasco or original Piaggio.
Extreme caution is advised when using with original Piaggio / Grimeca brake pumps (12-12.7mm). This is where the name "Tooth Fairy" comes from...
Grimeca NT hubs may require material removal on the back. This depends on the manufacturing tolerances of the hubs. Shims are included for spacing the caliper mount. The brake caliper must be spaced so that the disc runs exactly in the middle.
The brake is intended for display purposes only, but can be registered with the right TÜV inspector. Please contact us about this.
