This part is a reinforced replacement for the original input "XL2" shift fork. Shifting play is reduced. The problem of worn out shifting pad guides, especially with reinforced shift springs or "racing dogs," does not occur here.
As shown in the photo, the engine block must be slightly modified for this solid shift fork.
The shift fork is supplied as shown, including the shifting pads, also known as shift stones.
